A different approach

Sacred Hill is no ordinary cemetery, and the people who work there do much more than tend the grounds.

How many people feel guilty that they can’t visit a loved one’s grave as often as they’d like? Imagine a place where the staff treat memories the way you would treat them; placing their favorite flowers, lighting candles, visiting their alcove every day and speaking their name aloud. That which is remembered lives on.

But how can the staff at Sacred Hill know the right way to honor everyone there?

Simple; you’ll tell us. Sacred Hill is more than a monument - it’s a library. We’ll keep records for everyone buried there, in whatever detail you wish; just a short obituary or their entire life story. You can tell us if they had a favorite song, provide a cherished picture, quote a poem that was special to them, and we will make sure that is part of their memorial.

What will Sacred Hill do with what I tell them?

Information you provide about the honored dead will be kept forever in a digital archive. It will be available to any visitors as they pass by. Additionally, each burial and cremain chamber will incorporate an alcove that can serve as a remembrance altar. It will be a place for mementos and offerings. Using the information you provide, the staff will also contribute to making it a place that honors their memory; periodically playing favorite songs, reading from favorite books, or placing flowers or incense as available. Our staff don’t just take care of the physical space; we are guardians of the memories you entrust to us.
